How Do I Apply?

Medical Transcriptionists:  iMedX is currently only recruiting for Medical Transcriptionists who reside in Australia. For Medical Transcriptionists who reside in all other countries (except Australia and the Indian subcontinent), please check back at a later date to see when applications re-open.

We do not accept medical transcriptionist applications from applicants based in the Indian subcontinent. If you are from this region you are welcome to email your application to our office in India to the attention of Soumitra Banerjee (sbanerjee@imedx.com.au).

Prospective Clinical Coders:  Please send an expression of interest and current resume to au-careers@imedx.com.au which highlights your relevant experience or qualifications in Clinical Coding.

Application Process

Suitable candidates will then be offered the opportunity to complete an online assessment test which focuses on Medical Terminology and Medical Transcription knowledge plus a practical typing test to assess accuracy.

Please note that only applicants who pass the online assessment test will be progressed to the interview stage.

Work Availability

Full time and Part time contract work is available for suitable applicants, with hours of work highly flexible. Evening and weekend work is available. Contract details will be discussed with all applicants at the interview stage.
